A warm place for parents in the first 1,000 days

We Care Academy was born from a deep belief that parents deserve more knowledge, support, and recognition during the first 1,000 days. The period from pregnancy to a child's early years is special and precious, but it can also be intense, uncertain, and vulnerable.

During this time, a lot is asked of parents. You prepare for the birth, get to know your baby, search for confidence in yourself, and try to understand what your little one needs. That doesn't always come naturally. And it doesn't have to.

At We Care Academy, we want to help parents better understand their child and raise them with more peace, confidence, and connection.

Why We Care Academy was created

Diana started We Care from a desire to make care more personal, warmer, and better suited to what families truly need. From her years of experience in maternity care, she saw how big a difference it can make when parents feel seen, heard, and supported.

With We Care Maternity Care, a place was created where families could receive loving postnatal care and guidance. But over time, it also became clear that the need for knowledge and support goes beyond the postnatal week alone.

Parents have questions during pregnancy. They look for support after delivery. They want to better understand their baby. They sometimes struggle with crying, sleep, bonding, recovery, or uncertainty. And sometimes parents carry a birth story that deserves more attention than it has received.

That is why We Care Academy exists: as a knowledge centre for parents, professionals, and everyone involved in a loving start for young families.

The first 1,000 days matter

The first 1,000 days form an important foundation for a child's development. During this period, not only children grow, but parents do too. A bond is formed, trust is built, and step by step, parent and child get to know each other.

But parents don't have to know or carry all of this alone. Good information, reassurance, and appropriate guidance can make a big difference.

That is why We Care Academy offers knowledge that is understandable, loving, and practical. No judgement, no perfect pictures, but honest support for real parenthood.
